My issue is overhead powerlines in the Eastern suburbs
My objective is to make the council and state government aware of the fact that overhead powerlines are damging trees all around the Eastern Suburbs. A secondry objective of mine is to convince them that the powerlines in Chapel rd and Wentworth rd must be removed due to the damage of beautiful gum trees, fig trees and box trees in these streets. If I am successful in this m
How: they damging the trees and causing accidents
Due to the fact that trees evade the direction of the powerlines they must be cut through the middle to allow for the powerlines. This kills them by cutting large portions many of the native and foreign trees.
So why is the Federal, State and Local governments so uptight and strict about the damage and death about native trees when everyday over head powerlines which they insalled are killing native trees anyway.
Where: this is taking place.
This is taking place around most of Sydney and Australia, although my objective is for Wentworth and Chapel rd's only I hope that this will make the council and state government that it needs to be made more widespread.

Hey Andrew,
Great issue (hippy). The Trees in Vaucluse are great. We wouldn't want to spoil that! Would we?

I think this is a really good issue Andrew. I hope you have good luck with it because the trees around Vaucluse are very beutiful like you said and it would be a shame to spoil them. Again Good luck and keep going.
